HUMAN OPERATIONS MANUAL
By Lyndon Allicock
Introduction: Freedom
27. We find ourselves in this morass of immorality, lasciviousness, perpetual war and terror, because we do not know what freedom and liberty really means. 2Many have been encouraged to think that freedom means anything is valid, and that liberty means ‘the right to pursue all that freedom has been defined to be.’ 3This is partially true. 4But the most important part left out of the current definition of freedom is that, ‘not everything is wise to do.’ 28. True freedom would lead to the POSSESSION OF WISDOM to know what is meaningful, beneficial and harmonious, and to know what is valid and supportive for all life. 29. True liberty, would be demonstrated by taking responsibility for all that true freedom stands for; to practice only what is meaningful, beneficial and harmonious for a holistic life. 30. In the light of the correct definition of freedom and liberty, you must ask yourself, ‘what is it we currently have in our world that goes by the name freedom and liberty?’ 2The honest answer may shock you. 3Nevertheless, now you know. 4You are a few steps closer to understanding ‘who and what you are.’
